EPA's New Plan for Cleaner Chesapeake Bay
We have a choice to either clean up Maryland's waters or to continue to allow powerful interests to keep polluting treasures such as the Chesapeake Bay.
Maryland LCV is joining with thousands of voices to urge the EPA to CHOOSE CLEAN WATER!
We commend the EPA for taking a significant first step on September 10th, by releasing a new plan of action.
Read the plan. For over 25 years, agribusiness have pushed through their choices and fouled our waters rather then reduced their pollution.
EPA's plan includes bold ideas and we hope that it will lead to strong but realistic pollution limits that will keep local family farmers farming and finally put an end to unnecessary pollution of our waters that led into the Chesapeake Bay.
What you can do: Tell the EPA that you choose clean water over allowing pollution of our rivers and streams by commenting on their website or by coming to a public forum.
